Notes on various peoples of the Hyborian Age is a set of Howard's background notes. Rusty Burke and Patrice Louinet believe the first page, dealing mainly with Aquilonians, Gundermen and Cimmerians, may have been written very early in the Conan series, perhaps around the time of The Hyborian Age. The page dealing with the Westermarck was clearly composed as background for Wolves Beyond the Border.
