Tales of Weird Menace: Ultimate Edition presents Robert E. Howard’s Weird Menace and Yellow Peril stories, restored from his original typescripts, manuscripts, and carbons. Most texts come from the Glenn Lord Collection, Texas A&M, and the Cross Plains Library. “Skull-Face” is primarily sourced from its original typescript, while “The Story Thus Far” follows its first publication.

This edition features revised texts for “Moon of Zambebwei” and “The Noseless Horror,” restores the original typescripts for “The Night Was Damp” and “Yellow Laughter,” expands “Taverel Manor” from 15 to 24 pages, and adds new synopses for “Sons of Hate,” “Black Hound of Death,” and “Moon of Zambebwei.”

With over 500 pages, a new cover by Mark Wheatley, an introduction by Don Herron, and editing by Paul Herman and Rob Roehm, this volume is the definitive collection of Howard’s dark and thrilling tales.
