Introduction
Meet Cap'n Kidd is a Breckinridge Elkins story centered on Breckinridge's attempt to capture and tame the notoriously savage horse Cap'n Kidd.
The story was slightly altered to become Chapter 3 of the novel A Gent From Bear Creek. It was first published in The Summit Country Journal in 1968.
