Introduction
BLOW THE CHINKS DOWN! is a Sailor Steve Costigan short story by Robert E. Howard. It was originally published in the October 1931 issue of Action Stories.
The original title is THE HOUSE OF PERIL, featuring Mike Dorgan and Bill McGlory. Action stories made the changes to make it into a Costigan story and changed both the title and the names of the characters and the boat. Howard got $75 for this story.
Alternate title: THE HOUSE OF PERIL.
