Introduction

A fanzine or periodical edited by Jonathan Bacon from February 1976. Issue 7 contains the first appearance of the poem "Madame Goose's Rhymes", the untitled story ("The night was damp, misty, ..."), a letter to Harold Preece from August 1928 and the story COLLEGE SOCKS (featuring Kid Allison). Also included articles and poems by other writers.

The letter to Preece starts like this:

Glad you enjoyed our reunion at Fort Worth. I sure as Hell did. Yes, I’d have liked to have been with Truett, Hildon1 and yourself at Waco. Glad you settled things satisfactorily. Let the millenium or however you spell the damned thing come, but I reckon I’ll have to pass. Some things won’t mix and from all I hear of the great age, I wouldn’t suit in at all.

The letter can be found in The Collected Letters of Robert E. Howard Volume 1 (Letter #080).
