Introduction

Howard’s original Conan version of The Frost-Giant’s Daughter. After it was rejected, Howard rewrote the story with Amra as the protagonist and titled the new version The Frost King’s Daughter. The Amra version was later published in The Fantasy Fan as Gods of the North. L. Sprague de Camp subsequently found the original Conan manuscript and extensively rewrote it for later publication as The Frost Giant’s Daughter.
