I called to ask you if you had gotten the manuscript and to ask you to draw a line through the title of the book on page 557 and let it read simply: “Truett gave me a book and I love it.” Also, I wanted to ask you to delete the word lustful on page 582. I think it’s better not to use that word because I couldn’t think of a word then or now to describe my feelings about Bob’s overwhelming sense of duty to his mother and father.
