Having completed several weeks of steady work, I’m knocking off a few hours for relaxation and to try to catch up with my correspondence which I’ve allowed to stack up outrageously. With a case of beer, a bottle of gin, limes, ginger ale and grape juice near at hand, I defy the heat.
