Well, here I am back at the old home town, having gone no further than Fort Worth. I could have gone on to East Texas, but I didn’t have the energy. The thought of the exertion the trip entailed appalled me. The fact that travel repels instead of fascinating me as formerly, causes me a vague apprehension.
