Mrs. Henry Stith

Mrs. Henry Stith was one of Hester Jane Ervin Howard’s sisters. A June 1936 Cross Plains funeral notice lists her among Hester Howard’s surviving siblings and places her in Ponca City, Oklahoma. In Isaac M. Howard’s May 1, 1937 letter to Jessie Searcy, “Mrs. Stith” is discussed with Searcy in connection with jointly held Texas property. Her given name is not established by the sources used here.
