Sword & Fantasy #8
Publication date: Date given October 2006, but delayed until January 2008
Introduction
Fanzine published by James Van Hise. Contains a very badly translated story from the Spanish comic book, lots of reviews and essays. It also features a story of Solomon Kane, written by Van Hise. Actually quite good.
The front and back cover art is from a 1950s Mexican Conan comic book (though the comic was titled QUEEN OF THE BLACK COAST). Features include a 32 page reprint of a 1960s Mexican Conan comic book (but translated into English). There is also a 1945 tribute to C.L. Moore and an 8,000 word Solomon Kane story with illustrations by Mahlon Fawcett. There is also an article on Robert E. Howard's Wild Bill Clanton.
