Introduction

The Magic Carpet Magazine Volume 3 Number 2. There was no Howard story in this one, but it contains a letter he wrote, circa March 1933:

Congratulations on the quality and appearance of the Magic Carpet. There is a freshness and vigor of imagination about the magazine that is rare in this day of standardization. I wish it the best of luck. As usual, Price1 turned in a fine job with “Ismeddin and the Holy Carpet.” Ismeddin is my favorite Oriental character, worthy to take his place beside Sinbad and the Kalif Haroun.

The Price he refers to is E.Hoffmann Price. This is letter #240 in the Collected Letters of Robert E. Howard volume 3.

Notes
