I suppose you think I’m rather slow about answering your letter and there isn’t any excuse for it, either. I was promised a job in Brownwood, quit my job in the tailor shop here, then the guy went back on it. Leaves me without a job. I’ve been heaving freight at the depot some but there’s not much money in it.
