The Canadian newspaper, The Toronto Star Weekly reprinted Howard’s Crowd Horror in its Saturday edition from April 26, 1930.

The story was ​illustrated by Harold McCrea.

McCrea was born in Peterborough Ontario. He was a painter, graphic artist, cartoonist and illustrator in Toronto.  His painting subjects were ​ landscapes of Ontario, Quebec, the Canadian West and the Rocky Mountains. His approach to painting was in a realism style.
