Dallas is the ninth most-populous city in the United States and the third largest in Texas after Houston and San Antonio. Located in North Texas. 

We will travel from Haugesund, Norway, fly to Oslo, then to New York and finally arrive in Dallas where we will spend the first night only.

At the airport we will pick up our rental car which we will be using during our entire stay.

One day we would like to visit the Great Southern Pine Forest, the scary “piney woods” that REH liked to write about. This is in the “wrong” direction of where we are heading, but it starts only an hour or so east of Dallas. Another time perhaps.
