Introduction

KID GALAHAD was published as ‘The Good Knight’. In a letter to Tevis Clyde Smith (letter #164, mid-May 1931) we learn:

By the way, when you’re in the newsstands, I wish you’d glance at Sport’s Story now and then, if you don’t mind. I can’t get it here, and I’m afraid I’ll miss my story when it comes out. And I want to do some publicity work when it appears. Street & Smith, after long deliberation, finally decided to take another yarn of mine and sent me a check for $90.

Alternate title:

THE GOOD KNIGHT.
